Task 3 : Design Document Proposal

For task 3, we are required to compile our research and idea for our proposal. The proposal includes the following content :
  • Research Data 
  • User Journey Map
  • Proposed Idea for the Solution
Here is our proposal for our app, PetConnect 


FEEDBACK

  • User journey map 4, qualification to become a pet taker?
  • Function to register as an organisation or an individual
  • ⁠Business model - RM35 subscription needs to have more things to offer.
  • Business model - can take a cut from the services offered
  • Donation feature - collaboration with NGO so users can choose where to donate to
  • Design personalisation - choices to select themes (dog themed, cat themed, etc)
  • Can proceed with the design direction
  • Content is good - work on confidence in presentation


REFLECTION
Experience
From this task, I was able to learn what is needed to consider when creating a service helper app. Understanding potential user perspective help with determine the flow of the app. Besides that, user journey map help us to determine the type of pages we will produce in future task. A detailed user journey map help us consider the features that we would like include into the final prototype later on.

Observations
Based on my observation for this task, I notice that knowing what user needs and wants help determine the type of feature for the app we want to create. A unique feature can help sell the app to potential users.

Findings
From this task, I was able to learn about the different requirements that are needed to be consider when designing an app such as technical and business requirement. A detail user journey map helps understand the app features and what makes the app unique.
