Task 1 : Exercise 2 - Type and image
For this task, we are required to chose a image and incorporate a word/sentence/phrase that fits the chosen image. The objective is to enhance/support the interplay between the word/sentence and the selected visual. The text must be woven into a symbiotic relationship with the image.

TASK 2 : KEY ARTWORK AND COLLATERAL
Hours spent :
Task 2A: Key Artwork - 22 hours
Task 2B: Collateral - 30 hours
TASK 2A : KEY ARTWORK
For this task, we are required to use letters ( 2 - 3 letters, or more ) from our names to create a key artwork, which will behaves as a logo and artwork. This key artwork will later on be used in TASK 2B : Collateral.

TASK 2B : COLLATERAL
For this task, we are required to design collaterals from our key artwork's occupation. For my key artwork 'WF', the occupation of my choice is production studio. Collaterals that are design is for a film festival by Wow Films.
- a poster ( A3 size )
- an animated invite 800/1024 px
- one collateral of our choice.

For this task, we are required to design a typeface that solve a problem in the area of our interest or explore the use of typeface in our area of interest. For this task, I decided to explore and develop a typeface based on the game title, Bubble bobble. The typeface will be used as text, effect and title throughout the game. The typeface will also be used in the game collaterals such as poster and game packaging.

REFLECTION
Experience
After completing this module, I have a different view on typography. This module was a fun and interesting experience. There were a lot of mistakes that were made throughout the tasks but that what makes the learning experience fun as I get to learn from my mistakes. I also get to learn from my classmates and from the task that were carry out throughout the module. Overall, it was a very good experience as I get to learn what we can do with typography and also the knowledge gain from this module is useful and will help me with enhancing my work in the future
Observations
Throughout this module, I was able to learn from other classmates during the feedback session. I observed that I made quite a lot of mistakes when working on the tasks which I was able to learn from later on. The tasks were quite interesting and I was able to observe how to make a typeface look good and how to apply them well. Overall, this module is a bit challenging but it is fun. At the end, I was able to observe and learn throughout the module.
Findings
Through the tasks, I realized that a lot of time and consideration is needed when designing a typeface to make sure it is readable and look interesting at the same time. Besides the challenging tasks, I was able to learn about kerning and spacing and how important they are in making typeface look nice. The lesson from task 1 : exercise 1, typographic system is very helpful as we get to experiment with different ideas using the typographic systems. Overall, I was able to gain knowledge when working on the tasks and the knowledge I gain from this module is helpful.
